My Thoughts On Silent Hill F

Last night I played Silent Hill F for the first time. It was the first time I've played any Silent Hill game, although I've been interested in the franchise for a little while. It was on sale for half price, so I figured I should shoot my shot and try it out. I decided to go with the easiest game mode because I'm mostly here for the story.
I am really enjoying it so far! I like atmospheric, story-rich, open-world-ish games, and this is pretty much all of those. I also like the art style of the game and how realistic it is. A lot of games with Japanese characters whitewash them a ton and disregard realism, but in Silent Hill F they gave the characters proper ethnic features, and I liked that a lot.
I haven't gotten very far; only to the part where you begin following the man in the fox mask, but so far I enjoy the game a lot.
